Darkness Eternal (Guardians of Eternity #7.5) by Alexandra Ivy

Goodreads Summary:
After being held captive by one vampire for four centuries, Kata had no intention of taking another one to the underworld with her. Yet even in the pits of hell, there’s no ignoring the intoxicating desire awakened by his touch…

My Review:

Darkness Eternal is a novella by Alexandra Ivy. It takes place in the Guardians of Eternity world. It is published in the book Supernatural. The story takes place after the events of Devoured by Darkness. Laylah’s mother, Kata is freed from the tomb she has been imprisoned in for 200 years. Unfortunately, due to a curse from her sister she is cast into the underworld. She is accompanied by Uriel, the vampire who saved her.

This is a fun story to read. Kata has been imprisoned for 200 years that she is by no means out of touch with the modern world. She's a delightful character and I really liked her.

Uriel is a vampire who looks like an angel. This fact annoys him to no end. However, make no mistake about it, he is indeed a fierce predator. I really like him and the fact that he is hot and sexy didn't hurt matters.

I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to the next Guardians of Eternity book.
