Review Policy

I love to read and I read for fun. Since I read for enjoyment I generally only read books that I like. Life is too short to read boring books.

My reviews are generally whether I liked the book or not and why. I'm not going to do an in-depth analysis. All of my reviews are my honest opinion. If I receive a free book the review of it will be honest. I don't like it I will tell you why. How I got the book will not influence my review of it.

I review only fiction as that is my favorite. My favorite genres are YA, paranormal, fantasy, Romance, mystery, urban fantasy, and whatever else catches my eye. I also enjoy reading adult books in those categories.

I do read both traditionally published and self published books. I am very picky about the self published books that I read. I don't care for poorly written books with lots of typos. Basically if you self published your 1st draft please don't ask me to review it.

If I review a series I will started the 1st book and review each book. I especially enjoy reading series books. I will not start in the middle of the series.

Because of my physical limitations I prefer to read books on my Nook. I do have access to a Kindle but prefer the Nook.
