Ivy returns with the fourth installment of her pulse-pounding Guardians of Eternity series, in which a vampire must protect a bewitching woman from ancient enemies who have the power to destroy the world.
My Review:
Darkness Revealed is the 4th book in the Guardians of Eternity series by Alexandra Ivy. In 1814 Anna had a sexual encounter with Condé Cezar after which he disappeared and she did not see him for almost 200 years. She's convinced that he did something to her that caused her to live for over 200 years. Now they are both in Chicago and the sparks are flying.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a little bit different than other books in the series. The 2 main characters had met almost 200 years before. Now they are reunited and are sorting out their differences.
I like Anna. She's a survivor. She spent years just getting by and now she's finally made a good life for herself as an attorney. Unfortunately somebody's trying to kill her. Then there's the matter of her destiny, which she has no idea what it is.
I like Condé Cezar. He’s sexy and mysterious. Since his initial encounter with Anna he has not been sexually attracted to anybody else. He wants to protect Anna. He's been charged with protecting her by the Oracles, the rulers of the demon world. He knows what her destiny is but he can't tell her. He's been a prisoner of the Oracles for almost 200 years.
This series has been a lot of fun to read. The books are a light and fluffy read. I highly recommend this book.
